The New Documents team produces highly secured ID cards, that include all the security features of their government-issued counterparts such as Identigram®, Changeable Laser Image (CLI), optically variable ink (OVI), and optically variable stripes on the back. The polycarbonate or Teslin cards are filled in by laser engraving. Multiple colors of UV ink are used on the front and back of the cards. The color photograph is integrated into the card material via the Innosec Fusion® personalization system.
Diffractive Optical Variable Image Device (DOVID) – An optically variable feature composed of grids that diffract light. This generates various images and effects, including color changes (shifts) and 2D and 3D images.
